The 6D1004 pre-combustion chamber gasket is used to seal the mating surfaces of the pre-combustion chamber assembly on Caterpillar equipment. This is a new aftermarket spare part manufactured by CTP (Costex Tractor Parts).
The gasket is specified for Caterpillar articulated dump trucks, Challenger machines, and earthmoving compactors. Its function is to maintain a sealed joint between the contacting components and help prevent leakage at the connection.
