The 0961800 piston wear ring is a sealing-system support ring used in Caterpillar excavators, wheel excavators, and forest machines. It is a new aftermarket spare part manufactured by CTP (Costex Tractor Parts).
The ring is designed to help prevent seal extrusion in high-pressure applications and to support the sealing system during pressure increases.
