2016615 Speed Sensor Gp-sp for Caterpillar Equipment
The 2016615 Speed Sensor Gp-sp is a passive speed sensor used on Caterpillar equipment. It detects the linear movement of an actuator and produces an AC output signal without requiring an external power source. This is a new aftermarket spare part manufactured by CTP (Costex Tractor Parts).
The sensor generates an output waveform that is similar to a sinusoid. The frequency and voltage of the signal correspond to the linear speed of the actuator as it moves past the sensor pole piece. The sensing assembly consists of a magnet and coil installed in an injection-molded nylon housing.
