Valve Gp 1196744 is a brake control valve group for Caterpillar heavy equipment. It controls the application of fluid-activated brakes by regulating hydraulic pressure and manages the pressure stored in the hydraulic accumulator for operation through the foot brake control. This is a new aftermarket spare part manufactured by CTP (Costex Tractor Parts).
The valve group is used in the brake pedal control system. It regulates the pressure supplied to the brake circuit when the foot control is operated and is associated with the hydraulic accumulator used by the machine braking system.
